Veterinary Internships

AVC coordinates with several universities to accommodate continued education of young veterinary medicine students. AVC interns are exposed to large and small animal practice of rural veterinary medicine. First through fourth year veterinary students may apply for an internship. Interns will accompany an AVC veterinarian, daily, to further their best practice veterinary education.

Veterinary Technician Internships

AVC is expanding their internship program to include veterinary technician interns. Vet tech interns will receive hands-on, large and small animal experience in assisting AVC veterinarians in surgery, lab work, radiography, anesthesia, emergency procedures, best-practice animal handling and welfare.
